Nail Bars should be banned. Anyone in the industry with a shred of decency will agree with me. I have heard and also witnessed first hand, horror stories of nail drills burning the nail plate (part of nail attached to the skin) catching cuticles with drills, acetone being heated in boiling water, solutions being put on radiators, razors being used in pedicures to name but a few.
One poor woman was on holiday in Longleat Caravan Park. She opened a deck chair and caught her acrylics, managing to break 2 of them. The set of nails had been put on by a nail bar but was closed on Sundays. She was in a lot of pain and couldn't wait so went to the site manager who found me on the internet. She was with me within 10 mins with 4 children in tow. On closer examination these 2 nails had managed to rip her natural nail from the nail plate hence the reason for the exceptional pain. Why?
